Pennie is the state-based health insurance marketplace that’s exclusively for Pennsylvania residents.

Kismet Bagels and Domenick Financial recommend employees use this marketplace in addition to the other benefits.

Kismet Bagels provides an optional catastrophic accident plan through Colonial Life. All employees qualify for this optional plan through a weekly deduction.

This plan will help with medical costs incurred in the event you need to go to the hospital as a result of an accident inside or outside of work. The Individual Accident Plan will pay in addition to workers’ compensation for accidents at work.

Benefits include but are not limited to:

Ambulance & Emergency Room Visit

Including hospital rooms, urgent care, and physician visits, and more.

Diagnostic Procedures

Things like X-rays, CT scans, and more.

Overnight Hospital Stays & Surgeries

Including multiple days (up to 365 days depending on the level and type of care).

Accident Follow-up Treatment

Including physical therapy, transportation, and telemedicine.
